Up-Cycle Furniture Design

 Reconfigurable Mason Jar Light Fixture

This design makes use of one object to create various light fixtures to manipulate light quality in the space and inspire up-cycling.

Formation and growth of the fixture follows the qualities of light refraction from mason jars.

Through unique 3D printed joints, the jars can be connected in a variety of arrangements. Bands of the jar can be screwed to a joint or glued together to create a second connection point.

Shattered mason jars and their lids are reused as they are tinted/bent and placed within jars to increase refraction and reflection.
